Great architects possess the ability to listen deeply, translate visions into clear project briefs, and collaborate seamlessly to create responsive, thoughtful design solutions. Shaneen goes beyond this. With expertise in research, community engagement, and working alongside First Nations peoples, Shaneen integrates respect and advocacy for Country, culture, and environment into every stage of the design process. From concept development to construction, her approach ensures that projects honour people, place, and purpose—enriching both the built environment and the communities it serves.
After stepping down from People Oriented Design in 2024, Shaneen now focuses on new opportunities across Australia. While she is not currently offering architectural services in Queensland north of Maryborough, she continues to provide expertise in community engagement, project management, and research, bringing her wealth of experience to new clients and collaborations. Shaneen is available to provide a comprehensive service for projects in other regions.
